Day 1: Arrival in Tozeur

• Reception at Tozeur-Nefta Airport.
• Transfer to the hotel Ras Elain in Tozeur,subject to availability
• Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tozeur – Lezard Rouge Train – Ong Jmel

• Morning: Head to Metlaoui for a scenic ride on the historical Lezard Rouge train through canyons and tunnels.
• Return to the hotel for lunch.
• Afternoon: Explore Chott El Garsaa and Ong Jmel, famous for serving as filming locations for The English Patient, Star Wars, and Black Gold.
• Climb the dunes to watch a mesmerizing sunset.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel Ras Elain in Tozeur,subject to availability.

Day 3: Tozeur – Hezoua – Rjim Maatoug – Douz – Ksar Ghilane

• Morning: Depart for the east, crossing the Nafta and Hazoua oases.
• Explore the sand rose quarry near Chott El Djérid.
• Journey through the oasis of Rjim Maatoug and Faouar before reaching Douz, home to the Mrazig tribe.
• Lunch in Douz in restaurant El Bey 
• Drive to Ksar Ghilane, a former Roman fortress surrounded by red sand dunes.
• Dinner and overnight in hotel El Pansy in Ksar Ghilane,subject to availability.

Day 4: Ksar Ghilane – Douiret – Chenini – Tataouine

• Morning: Depart for the picturesque villages of Douiret and Chenini, carved into the mountainside.
• Visit Douiret’s oil press and mosques, with Berber drawings adorning its cave houses.
• Lunch in Douiret
• Afternoon: After lunch visit Chenini, explore its historical mosque and the Seven Sleepers’ Tombs.
• Dinner and Overnight in Douiret, subject to availability.

Day 5: Tataouine – Ksour – Matmata – Douz

• Morning: Head north to visit Ksar El Farch and Ksar Hadada (a Star Wars filming site).
• Stop at the Berber village of Toujene, set in a mountain valley with a panoramic ksar on the highest peak.
• Lunch in Matmata, famous for its troglodyte houses.
• Visit a local Berber family to experience traditional living.
• Afternoon: Arrive in Douz for a visit to the Sahara Museum, with an optional camel ride across the dunes (client’s expense).
• Dinner and overnight at a hotel Sun Palm in Douz, subject to availability.

Day 6: Douz – Chott El Jerid – Tozeur

• Morning: Depart for Tozeur, with a stop at the semi-submerged village of Debebcha.
• Cross the shimmering Chott El Jerid salt lake, known for its stunning water color changes.
• Visit Sidi Bouhlel.
• Lunch in Tozeur.
• Afternoon: Explore Tozeur, the largest Tunisian oasis, including the 14th-century Ouled el Hafedh quarter and the lush palm groves.
• Dinner and overnight at  hotel Ras Elain in Tozeur,subject to availability.

Day 7: Tozeur – Mountain Oases

• Morning: Depart for the Atlas mountain oases, which once served as Roman military outposts.
• Visit Chebika, a small palm grove with a spring emerging from the rocks and fossil-rich mountains.
• Continue to Tamerza, famous for its beautiful river and waterfalls.
• Afternoon: Explore the Mides canyons with an optional hike in the Atlas Mountains.
• Lunch in Tamerza.
• Return to Tozeur for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Transfer to Tozeur-Nefta Airport at the agreed time.
