02 days Sahara Expedition: Douz to Tembaine

DAY1: Douz - Tembaine

• Morning Departure from Douz: Depart from your hotel or meeting point in Douz in a 4*4 Vehicle. Start your adventure heading deep into the Grand Erg Oriental.
• Desert Journey : Drive through the golden sand dunes, enjoying the stunning scenery as you leave the last traces of the civilization behind. As you traverse the vast desert , take in the ever-changing landscapes of dunes, rocky expanses and barren plains.
• Lunch in a restaurant in the desert: Lunch in a restaurant in the desert, enjoy a traditional  lunch in front of the dunes of desert.
• Arrival at Tembaine: Reach Tembaine . This isolated mountain in the middle of the Sahara is a well-known landmark , offering unparalleled views of the surrounding desert. The calm and serenity of the area will give you a true sense of the Sahara's immensity .
• Desert Activities:  You can take a part in range of activities :
• Dune Climbing : Climb the nearby dunes for panoramic views of the Sahara.
• Camel ride: Experience a short camel trek through the surrounding dunes.
• Sunset over the Sahara : As the day comes to close , enjoy the breathtaking sight of the sun setting over the dunes , casting a golden glow over the vast desert landscape.
• Dinner & Campfire : As night falls , demonstration of a sand bread cooking before a traditional desert dinner will be served under the stars. Gather around a campfire for an evening of storytelling, music, or quiet reflection as the desert sky reveals a brillant display of stars.
• Overnight in the Camp : Sleep in a comfortable tent in Campement Tiniri

DAY 2: Tembaine - Douz:

• Sunrise over the Dunes : Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the desert.
• Breakfast at the Camp: Enjoy a light breakfast while taking in the views of the surrounding dunes and the peaceful desert atmosphere.
• Departure for Douz:  After breakfast, begin your journey back to Douz, retracing your path through the desert. On the way, take in the sights and appreciate the stark beauty of the sahara.
